There was no need to ask if the other spirits felt the same, for they all glowed with new wonder and power. They each looked at one another with warm, heartfelt smiles, confirming this wondrous experience they had shared. Then, without speaking the three spirits passed through the gate and into the final scene before them. There was a small village in the distance, with twinkling lights under a beautiful, star-filled sky. A narrow, winding road led from the village over a few low hills to the edge of the gate. As the spirits stepped through the pillars into the scene, they were somewhat transformed in size and appearance. They now appeared as mortal men, of normal height, wearing clothing similar to that of some of these new creatures that Helios had observed during the last few scenes shown through this gate. He watched them walk down the path toward the village with the stars of that world shining brightly around them, and further wonder was awakened within him. Helios desired very much to go with them, and turning to Gabriel, said, “Can we follow them?” Gabriel answered, “It is your privilege to go where you please, and I would not hinder you if you should choose to follow them. “Indeed
I would come along! He added with a laugh.
