Then Gabriel smiled again and said with a laugh, “And that, my friend, is one of the more obvious differences between the Creator and a created being who might have the rather unenlightened view that he might exist on his own, without the need for God in his life. “Also, since you and I and all other created beings are not all-knowing, we must take advantage of the gifts that God makes available to us if we would seek more knowledge. “All of nature declares the knowledge of God, and within these great halls of heaven there are countless halls of knowledge that you may explore, where vast amounts of information may be transferred to you in moments. “Indeed, everything I have told you since your arrival in this place could have been conveyed almost instantly by means of a knowledge chamber in one of the great halls of knowledge, or by direct, divine revelation.” Gabriel smiled again as he continued. “But I rather enjoy showing new arrivals around, especially those who have demonstrated the patience that you have, Helios. You must be…” Gabriel paused when he saw Helios light up with an enthusiastic smile and wave at someone.
