“There was a leader among our race, called Satan, whom God had blessed abundantly in all things. In appearance, knowledge, and power he had more than a great portion. However, he became full of pride and selfishness.

“He seemed never satisfied with the adequate blessings of God, because he did not allow himself to tap into God’s full power and blessings by trusting in His Word. In fact, he began to envy the very Word of God, which held his own reality together.

“Satan conceived a Lie within his inner spirit, that he had enough power within himself to sustain his reality. For from the moment that God revealed his plan that a more glorious and superior reality would replace the current one, Satan betrayed his Creator and began to speak out against the Word of God.

“He desperately desired to hold on to things as they were, for he did not trust in the goodness, Love, and Word of the Creator. Because of pride in his appearance, possessions, and power, Satan denied the very source of his power and all that he had.
