“Each point can act as a gate, once you are sufficiently skilled in point-jumping. “By initially concentrating on one of the points or objects in the view-port, you may, in the mind of your spirit, seem to be in two places at the same time. This can be done with full sensory perception. Once you are in this state, you may choose to observe the other reality remotely, point-jump to the time-space coordinate of the observation, or break your focus and return to your previous viewing perception.”

Up to this point, Helios had not traveled through any of the gates in these great halls. All of the gates that Gabriel had taken him to, they had observed from the Halls themselves, and most of his observation had been through the pillars. The only point-jump he had made was into the hall in which they now stood. To say that he was amazed at what he had experienced and seen so far, falls utterly short of any possible description. Though
Helios is a mighty spiritual being, and had been created near the
beginning of the current Song of Creation, he correctly perceived
that here he was in the presence of beings far more ancient than himself.
